2012 Lent and Easter Collection

On February 22nd the Church begins the journey of Lent, that season of sober joy, when we prepare our hearts and minds to celebrate the great paschal mysteries that lead us to the joy of Easter. We invite you to browse our collections of vesture in purples, violets and rose for the Sundays and days of the Lenten season, vesture in red for the celebration of Palm Sunday and Good Friday and vesture in white, cream and gold to celebrate most fittingly the great feast of Easter. As always each Holy Rood Guild vestment is handcrafted here in our monastery workrooms with meticulous attention to detail. For we believe that the vestment is a work of art that may lead beyond itself to evoke the “radiance of profound beauty."
